Shipping & delivery policy
GoFudo's delivery coverage, hours, fees and typical delivery times for orders across Ahmedabad.
Last updated 3 September 2026 · Effective 15 October 2026
1. What this policy covers
GoFudo delivers prepared food, not physical goods, so 'shipping' means the delivery of your order from a restaurant to your address by a GoFudo rider. This policy explains coverage, timing, fees and handover.
2. Where we deliver
GoFudo delivers only within its live service area, launching in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A restaurant appears in the app only if it can reach your saved address; addresses outside the serviceable radius are not shown a delivery option.
3. Delivery hours
Each restaurant's own hours apply, within a platform window of 8:00am to 11:30pm. Late-night availability varies by area and by which restaurants are open.
4. Delivery fees
The delivery fee is calculated from a base charge plus a per-kilometre rate that varies by area, subject to a minimum and maximum, and is shown in full before you pay. A flat platform fee of ₹5 plus GST also applies to every order. There are no surge, rain, night or long-distance surcharges beyond the fee shown at checkout.
5. Delivery times
Most orders arrive in 30 to 45 minutes. The estimated delivery time shown in the app accounts for the restaurant's preparation time and the rider's route, and updates live as your order progresses — but weather, road closures and festival traffic can extend it. GoFudo does not guarantee a fixed delivery time or pay a penalty for delays.
6. Handover
Orders are handed to you or someone at your address. Contactless delivery is available on prepaid orders. Riders wait a reasonable time and attempt to contact you before treating a delivery as failed.
7. Packaging and food safety
Restaurants pack and seal orders; riders carry them in insulated bags. If a seal is broken or packaging leaks on arrival, report it immediately through the app so we can address it with the restaurant.
8. Multiple orders and group deliveries
A rider may carry more than one order when routes overlap and it does not meaningfully add to your delivery time.
9. Coverage changes
We may pause deliveries to an area temporarily for safety, weather or rider availability. New coverage areas are announced in the app as they open.
